Dear Chairman and Committee Members:

I’m in support of Voter I.D. requirements contained in LB111 and I hope you will vote to advance it to the floor for a full debate and vote.

Voter fraud is an established fact based on documented cases reported around the country, the best reference to this is the article link below by the RNLA Republican National Lawyers Association who cite many cases of voter fraud.

I question the argument made by opponents that not everyone has proper I.D because we all know that it is impossible to conduct even basic business (to the point of getting a library card) without proper forms of I.D.  We can not allow the integrity of our election system to be compromised Voter I.D. would protect my vote from being cancelled by those who may abuse the system.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Sincerely, Susan Smith  Address and Phone #

The RNLA Republican National Lawyers Association cite many cases of Voter Fraud.  http://www.rnla.org/votefraud.asp

DOI undercover agents showed up at 63 polling places last fall and pretended to be voters who should have been turned away by election officials; the agents assumed the names of individuals who had died or moved out of town, or who were sitting in jail. In 61 instances, or 97 percent of the time, the testers were allowed to vote. Those who did vote cast only a write-in vote for a “John Test” so as to not affect the outcome of any contest. DOI published its findings two weeks ago in a searing 70-page report accusing the city’s Board of Elections of incompetence, waste, nepotism, and lax procedures.   http://watchdog.org/123576/voter-fraud/

Please share this information with anyone who believes voter fraud is an increasing concern and supports people showing identification to vote.  Let’s get LB 111 passed, so we know that non-citizens are not voting and that every vote is legitimate.

State Senator Beau McCoy:  Government is at its best when citizens are active and engaged.  I encourage you to follow the Nebraska Legislature.  “The Salvation of the State is the Watchfulness of the Citizen.”

Thank you.  Any questions, please call or email me.
